Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CDXZipStream ("the Service"), operated by CDX Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CDXZipStream provides geographic data tools — ZIP code lookup, address verification (USPS ZIP+4), demographics, geocoding, routing, and distance calculations — delivered as an Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc add-in and a REST API. Operations run on a credit-based plan.

3. Accounts

To buy a plan or credits and to manage your API keys, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Billing & Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Plans are billed on a recurring basis and credit packs are one-time purchases billed at checkout. Refund requests are evaluated case by case.

5. Data Processing

Files you upload are processed solely for the purpose of generating your requested report. We do not sell, share, or use your uploaded data for any other purpose. Uploaded files are deleted after 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, to process data you do not have the right to use, or to attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. Data accuracy depends on upstream sources (USPS, US Census Bureau, third-party APIs). We are not liable for decisions made based on data returned by the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
